A published alumni profile written for Auburn University at Montgomery's 40 @ Forty anniversary publication. Developed from written interview responses, the profile demonstrates biographical storytelling, information synthesis, and audience-focused institutional communications.
Instructional Writing · 2015
Selected instructional materials from an advanced first-year college composition course I designed and taught at the University of Alabama. This collection demonstrates curriculum development, clear assignment instructions, and the scaffolding of rhetorical analysis, research, and revision activities.
Report Writing · 2014
A professional memorandum documenting community literacy programs and services at a small public library in an Alabama town. Based on my site visit and conversation with a librarian, the report demonstrates firsthand information gathering, synthesis, and concise informational writing.

A published book chapter examining how young women use fan fiction and online communities to research, reinterpret, and reshape popular culture. The project page includes publication information, an independent scholarly review, and a discussion of my research and writing process.
